Re: I borrowed rent money from mom and can't repay
Hi Whitney, Well of course no program will help you repay your mom. That is something you both need to resolve. But for that other rent you owe, rather than be evicted, there are some programs that will help prevent evictions. Try them, and [urlhttps://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/eviction_preve...

Re: Need to move to a more affordable apartment
Hi, Apartments, and rents, are starting to stabilize (even decrease) around the country, but of course they have gone up since the pandemic. But while it is hard to find an affordable house to live in, there are still places out there. Including government subsidized units that have very short or no...

But then there are also Public Housing Authorities for disabled people, including those in a wheelchair. Maybe they can arrang...

Re: Wednesday disconnection
Anyone with a disconnection of utilities with days most likely will not have enough time to get help from say "regular" LIHEAP (or their state's equivalent) or a charity. People really need to apply way in advance, before they are close to a shut off. But there is one expedited government ...

Re: Used a payday loan to pay rent
Obviously it is never a good idea to use a payday loan, especially for rent. Or any "daily living" bill. Unless you have 100% certainty you will pay the entire payday loan back within days, such as maybe you are expecting a tax return that will allow you to pay it all back. Otherwise, for ...
