Low income patients, and Ohio residents with no health insurance, or limited health insurance, may be able to get free or low cost medical care from community clinics located throughout Ohio. If you are interested in exploring their services you will need to call the clinic for more information.
In general they will provide general checkups, immunizations, and some primary health care services. Some of the locations may offer dental assistance and prescription medications. The fees will usually vary based upon the patients income. So if their income is low enough, or they have no health insurance, then the care and medications may be free. However some clinics may offer medical care on a so called sliding fee scale, which means people pay some money towards their medical bills.
