Because of the economy here I have been out of work since March and I have been waiting to receive unemployment since March as well, and I have yet to receive any payments yet. I was just hoping that I could receive some kind of help for my kid (sneakers, backpack, dresses, pens and school stuff) so that I could put towards my bills. If so, I would more than appreciate it.

It sounds like you owe on electric and other bills, not to mention needing school supplies. If your partner is a vet, of course try a local VA. My fiancé is a vet who was just laid off 2 weeks ago and we are still trying to buy school supplies. He has found another job already but his first paycheck is being withheld therefore we will not have any income until the 15th of October, his first check.
Our electric bill is due and is about to be shut off and we have been devastated and stressed beyond belief due to us having 3 children. All three kids need clothes, sneakers and school supplies too. They are in grades 6, 8, and 10.
If there is any way you could help us? We are in Buffalo New York.

There are several programs in Buffalo that give out school supplies. They can also more likely get your son Kaleb clothes and a winter jacket for those cold winters there! I am trying to sign my son up for help with local school supply bashes and events here in Buffalo. I thought my family was going to help but turns out they are not. I knew I shouldn't have believed them. They are toxic. Can you please help? His name is Kaleb. He is 8 years old. I also have a 18 year old named Kobe but he moved out of the home.
