To Whom This May Concern
I'm reaching out in regards for help with rent and utility assistance. I have previously filled out the Kentucky heating assistance program back in February but have not heard back. When checking the status, it states ready for review. I'm currently disabled, still waiting on my SSDI. I have no monthly income at this time. Could you point/lead me in the right direction for money for upcoming winter in Kentucky to pay for heat? I am facing cutoff on my utilities.

Hi my name is Yolanda and I am calling on behalf of Daniel. His electricity got cut off and he is not able to speak to the electric company in Kentucky. I was wondering if I can if we all take walk-ins or if I have to set up an appointment to get help and he does qualify for the program that the community action agency center provides. I believe he we did not renew him and our electricity is cut off as of now do I have to do the application up there at or can I do it online?

Hi all,
We see one reference to Louisville as well as different cities and counties. But the first option is to always try the payment plans and resources offered directly by energy companies, and there are many in Kentucky. Find information on how to get utility help in KY.

Hello,
My 3 kids and I are currently in Louisville, KY while evacuated from our home due to lack of electricity.
Are there any programs that we may qualify for while awaiting electricity and water to be restored at our home?
If we could have help with gas and money for electricity since we can’t cook in the hotel, and hotel fees that would be very helpful. We are trying to get family to help, but we are unfortunately looking at having to return without supplies that we would need at home.
Thank you.

Good morning, I hope I'm emailing the right place, I'm in desperate need of my lights restored in Kentucky. As of yesterday Electricity and Power took my box and I'm without service in my home that consists of myself and my daughter who is disabled and my 8 year old old grandson. We put in an application in December for help and received an email saying it was accepted and heard nothing else so we assumed the electricity bill was paid until yesterday when they came out to cut off service. My grandson uses the nebulizer which he needs electricity and that's our only heat and cooking source. We greatly need help.
Thank you

Dear Whom Ever It May Concern,
I have recently been without electricity. I am currently a commuting
college student at the University of Louisville. I have two kids 1 years
old and 6 years old. I had a disconnection as of 3/15/2019 and
unfortunately, I do not have enough money to turn my power back on. I am
currently renting a 2 bedroom in the 40505 districts.
I have not ever used
these resources and would like to know what I should do to begin the
process for assistance with my electric bill. Currently the bill is 199.00
dollars and to my knowledge I had to pay $78.23 to stop it from getting
turned off and as of right now I only have $21.81. I do work part time at a
local bookstore in Lexington "The Wild Fig Books and Coffee". I receive
about 15-17 hours a week and get paid by weekly. I do not get paid again
until the 29th of this month. PLEASE HELP
Sincerely,
