i am asking not for me but my niece. she is a single mom living with a child with no power or gas.all was cut off.has no income and she is pregnant. has no refrigerator.is
their any help she can get?iam so worried about her and children..she lives in Livingston county in Michigan.any info i appreciate it as i myself have no money to help her and winter coming.

Some Michigan utility companies offer assistance for people with children, someone pregnant, etc. provided they are low income. I am responding to you as sort of an advocate for friend of mind who is struggling at the present with a gas bill that is a big financial hardship. This individual is a hard working, responsible person who works everyday. In the past he did encounter several obstacles, that set him back and
reduced gravely his ability to give the bill for gas the attention it. If there is anything that can be done to assist this person it would delight my heart. I have watched this person deal with one set back after another, and he has certainly become a role model and an example to me. You can contact me and I look forward to hearing from you.

That is great that you are looking out for your friend. Not too many people do that these days. Can the person get back on track paying bills, but just need some short term help? If so, try Union Plus for gas and heating assistance. Heat USA is an effective place to call at 1-800-660-0691, and they can help Union and Labor members with financial assistance and maybe even free home heating oil.

Shut off to be sometime in the next few hours or days. It was scheduled the 9th April. Got behind due to boyfriend not making money. PPL Does want almost the WHOLE amount due which is 1970.00 to avoid shut off. The power bill is high and a lot past due because of it being high and now I had taken out. One cash advance putting myself in a bad situation doing that. Plus taking his 300 he finally earned towards the bill. but still In need of help to avoid shut off. Not sure what to do. Will try LIHEAP. But i don't think we will qualify. If any fast help out there. I feel PPL acts like we intentionally created such a high bill and that we make 30.00 hour like they do.

We think PPL is in Pennsylvania. If not, let us know and we will provide more information. How do you have a utility bill of up to $1970. How is that possible. Anyway, review this for Pennsylvania energy and utility assistance programs. Hello, I live in St. Cloud, MN. Last year I lived on campus in a 3 bedroom house with 4 other individuals. Yesterday my current roommate and I had our electricity shut off, and were told that we had an outstanding bill of $2,800 that were most certainly not aware of. Two of our roommates bailed on us 3 or 4 months after they moved in and we were forced to pick up the slack on all of their bills/rent. I was told that their are some services that may be able to help me and my roommate out, I'm not sure if I am eligible in any way but if you know anything please email me back. I am a single mother of three children under the age of ten. I am in need of assistance to keep my power running. I let my ex-husband and his girlfriend stay with me for what was suppose to be a week that was in July, but they just finally left last week. My power bill is now 333.60 and it will be getting shut off by Thursday, no later than Monday. My kids all have health problems.
I am currently going through the TANF program and being placed on a job site on the 30th of this month. The only problem with that is I will be working for free. I have a cable bill that got ran up to almost 400.00 as well. I use the internet for my school work and the TV was for the kids. I need help ASAP if possible. Please let me know soon. If you are in college at Savannah Tech, then use your financial aid. Also, why do you owe $255 in electric if at school? Move into a dorm room. But great for you in trying to get that college degree! There are various other utility programs to try for help, and to find them, click here.

Hi. I'm in the West Memphis, Arkansas area, but I have a past due gas bill that I need assistance with. I have a roommate, and they are moving out at the end of the month, and I'm needing some assistance in resolving this past due bill so that I can get it put in my name.
