Water bill assistance is very rare. There are some statewide resources in California you can try, but don't cross your fingers. Also, maybe ask the Yolo County provider for a payment plan, and find other water bill help in California.

Hello, Can you tell me if Lake county, CA has the H20 program available for assistance or discounts on water bills please? The water company had no idea what I was talking about. A friend of mine from another county told me about this program. Thank you very much for your time.

I really need help paying my water and light bills. My husbands Check was very short this month due to no work last month. We only had just enough to pay rent. Were not going to be able to have Christmas for our kids that’s how bad things are for our family. We would be blessed to get help to pay some of our water and light bill.

Well, water bill help is very rare. But there are some places you can try in Minneapolis. More likely is some type of funds for your other utility bills, and that may be LIHEAP or something similar. We also doubt anyone will assist with an $800 bill as well, as that is showing some type of mismanagement or something you are not telling us. That is a serious bill. Regardless, Find Hennepin County financial aid programs.

Sorry no funding here just a wealth of resource information. I would start by calling your electric company and see if you can work something out with them, there are payment plan options most everywhere. In addition call 211 for more resources.

There seem to be no one in Yolo county that can help with a water/sewer bill, no assistance at all. If you could help with a resource or just help that would be awesome. I do not know what else to do.
Sincerely,

I am in desperate need of assistance paying my Beaumont / Cherry Valley water district bill as well as some other electricity expenses. I had let some one stay at my house while I was away simply because she had given me a sad story that her family kicked her out and she has a baby well I gave in/fell for it. The woman agreed to pay bills if I didn't charge rent; sounds fair right? The house is in my parents name unfortunately I am so financially strapped I have been out of work for almost a year (4/13). I do seek employment and do pull off spot jobs "praise God". If there is any way anyone can provide me with any resources I would be so dreadful. I arrived home end of March to estimated $300 electricity Bill. I got that in payments so got power. The $573.00 is due for the water bill. Thank God for good people helping me out showering bringing me water jugs etc.

I'm in a desperation situation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My water bill has reached 824 dollars, which was something I didn't know until last week, and the water company is shutting off my water on the 15th. I'm in a low income family and seriously need help. Is there anyone I can go to? Please? I have three children living with me and I have no way of paying my lights or this bill.

My daughter has no phone but she does have email She lives in Piscataway NJ 08854. She is age 45 and is taking advanced degree at Rutgers and is being evicted because of a landlord problem he has with the county or state. About 2 months ago she fell on the ice and broke her leg and she received medicaid but was unable to apply for other benefits and she is destitute!! Please have someone contact her and help her. I am living on an income that barely pays my bills and have given her as much as I can afford and am out of savings so I can't help any more. I heard of a low cost phone that she could get that she desperately needs just to be able to call for help herself.

Well, water bill programs do not exist in your region. However PG&E does offer some emergency assistance and conservation programs. A listing of them are below. So of them, like REACH, are available across the state and are offered by the Salvation Army. When you apply for their electric bill assistance also ask them about a job. The PGE / Pacific Gas programs can be found here. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... assis.html

I'm currently about to get my power shut off on Wednesday June 8th, due to a recent injury I'm unable to work. I'm looking for any way to help prevent shut off of my power I can come up with most of the money but due to an extra $150.00 deposit and a $50 collection fee I am in able to pay the full amount before they shut it off. They will not except any amount less than the full extend the deadline... I live in Seattle WA. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My rent is almost two months behind. I have been looking for a job and my husband got fired from his job but the ruling of employment for discrimination purposes we got a notice today for if we do not pay in 3 days we need to leave the premises and we have nowhere to go and we have a 7 month old baby to take care of. I am currently in school for my bachelors degree and he is currently collecting a small amount a week from unemployment but it does not meet the cost of rent and electric. We are currently due to have electric shut off on the 26th of this month, we are really upset and need assistance If possible soon, I would appreciate it and be most greatly appreciative for help, it's not easy asking for help.

I need help paying my high department of water and power bill. It is $834 and climbing very month. just got laid off from a seasonal job was only making minimum wage which I was able to pay the bare minimum due to paying rent of 500. I have three children and I do the best I can. I am only asking for help with this bill. I as well as my kids will be devastated if my power and electric is cut off I was able to keep my gas reasonable. I just pray that someone reads this and has a big heart and ability and willing to help us. I'm looking for a job that I was recently blessed and able to get work since being unemployed prior to this for so long. God bless all because I know I’m not the only mother struggling. I am thanking you in advance.

I work a full time job, but it is not enough to make ends meet while my boyfriend is out of work. Yesterday my water was shut off because I was short by thirty five dollars. Today my power is due to be shut off because I do not have any money to pay it. I have nowhere to turn. No way to cook or store food, or anyway to perform the hygienic routine necessary when one must work. I do not get paid for another week and a half, but all of my money must go to paying the rent on my home in Virginia Beach or I will not have any place to live. Please help. I am afraid and have no place to turn.

Hello, I am about to be a mom for the first time and unfortunately a single one. I have a house to live in, but am not working (on strict bed rest due to preterm labor) and have no income to pay PG&E, water, garbage or phone. I don’t know what to do or where to turn. Can you direct me please? Thank you.

Out of nowhere my boy friend and I received an almost $400 water bill. Out of nowhere and how we pay the bill is the same each month and how we do that is we get the bill from the apartment manager (always delivered 5 days late) and we give him the money. Where it goes from there I have no clue. We are both unemployed and having the worst luck finding a job in Seattle Washington.
