If you need to go to court in your local municipality, then try an eviction defense lawyer. If your income is low enough the advice may be free. Read more here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... for_t.html
They often are a great resource for local laws, rules, and regulations.

Hello, my name is Amanda. My husband and 3 kids are in desperate need of help. We have court summons today for being evicted out of our home and we have nowhere else to go. We are going to try and buy some time hopefully today in court but the rental office will no longer work with us. My husband has been out of work for a couple months with no luck finding anything. I have been out of work since March and have a couple job interviews lined up but it’s kind of too late because court is today as we were summoned for the eviction. Our water is about to get cut off because we cannot afford to pay it along with HRSD and our gas. If you can help or have any information on where we can go to apply for help please let us know. We have called around to every church and nonprofit that we can find and they do not have the fund available. Please feel free to call me to deal with this eviction court summons.
Thank You for Your time,
Amanda

I am reaching out to you as all hope seems lost am I am facing eviction any day now from my apartment. I lost my job and has not been able to find one yet, I so much need to work that at time I fantasies working in certain places, which is not true. I anticipate finding a job every day to take care of my basic needs, but as of today no luck. I have tried every local charity but no help. This is my last hope as I now face the bitter side. EVICTION. I just need one person to believe in me that God can raise me up and put me back on my feet again and into an apartment. Can you be the one to open your bowel of compassion to help me? Please consider

I need any help. I can get to pay my rent for this month. I live at the Florence apartments and my rent is $620 a month. I work at speedway and my checks were delayed almost 3 weeks in that time I had to use the part of my rent to cover groceries and the needs of my kids. I haven't had any problems with rent before I'm not on section 8 but my rent was due on the 1st and I have only a little more time to come up with it before it goes to the court for eviction.

Hello. I'm reaching out to you because I am in a situation and I really don’t know where to start. I am currently facing an eviction from my mortgage attorney in the local court. I am going to have to be out of my home soon. I talked with an eviction attorney today and he told me what to expect. But my biggest concern is that I am going to have a hard time finding a new place to move that I can afford before my eviction date in the court. At the moment, in my house I have myself, my fiancé and my 2 children, one boy 12 years old and one girl 5 years old. So I need a 3 bedroom place. And I'm worried about being able to find a place for us to move in time before I/we are evicted. I have been looking for places around the area and most of them require security deposit and 1st months’ rent. Plus a credit check as well as past rental history. I'm not sure if my credit is good enough to be approved for a place. And if I am going to be able to pay for the move as it is very costly. If someone could please point me in the right direction to get assistance or any advice. Thank you in advance. If someone needs to call I work during the day but my fiancé can be reached and she has my full permission to speak on my behalf.

Well, if you can't find funds for paying your rent, there are free legal aid programs for housing court. They will try to ensure you are treated fairly. You can find more information on these services here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... for_t.html

The housing court should try to work out a payment plan with you and your landlord, which may include more time to pay the rent, reduce fees, etc. What did the judge say? Maybe there are other options for you too. As maybe a charity or some other group will help. Try them. Read more programs that help with rent.

My parents and I have spiraled into a horrible situation. Facing eviction from the apartment for the past two months and we have no ended up in a no way out situation. Need help ASAP and I mean like today. The rent was due. February 5th is the deadline and my parents certainly have no chance of cooperating with each other. Neither of them are taking any action and I, the 24 year old only child who recently finished school, is taking matters into my own hands.

So you are evicted from your Bronx home? If so, then resources in NYC may help with rehousing too. Though you will need to stabilize your situation first and be on the right path. As you said, making $1200 every two weeks just will not cut it. You need another job, live with someone else, etc. but one of the New York City rental assistance programs may help you. As they cost of housing is so high in the Bronx and other parts of the city.

Good Afternoon,
I am a merchant mariner and resident of Florida. My employer is based out of NJ. They recently have not been able to bring me back to work due to lack of contracts and subsequently have no work for me. I am applying for Florida Unemployment Benefits while looking for a new job. However, I am about to be evicted from my apartment due to my current situation of not being gainfully employed.
I have a job interview set up for after the first, but in the meantime, I do not have the money to pay my rent, and am barely surviving. My last day of employment was December 2015, based out of Rumson, NJ. If you have any info on how I can attain assistance to prevent my eviction, I would greatly appreciate it. I currently house my mother, my girlfriend, and her two children.

I had spinal back injury and could not work. And need to pay the back rent as I had eviction order. I applied for one shot deal and got 3 referral letters for NPO's to help me paying the back rent due to my spinal injuries. I need $1600.00, half will be helped by the HRA NYC and half I have to arrange. Please help me paying me back arrears and I have filled an appeal as I got the judgment of $16000.00 to pay the rent.
But my stay order will be granted only after the full payment of money judgment. I'm by myself and need help in legal and paying my back arrears to avoid the eviction. I have been harassed and discriminated by the landlord inside the court room during the trial and landlord has illegally overcharged me and owes me more money than what I know him as back rent. I really need help please with this court case. If someone could assist me at this crucial time of my life. I'm from New York, Queens.

Hello, I'm contacting you because my best friend needs rent help. She is disabled, has a six year old and a fourteen year old in the house, her husband left her with 300 dollars in late fees on the house they are living in. He hit her in the face a few weeks ago. I've got pictures she made a police report. She is still waiting on disability to come through.
She was served eviction papers Tuesday of this week (5/23/2016) she has to be in court on December 9, 2016. She can't live on the street with a six year old and a fourteen year old. Her husband has a problem with prescription pills, was stealing her pain medications. If there is anything you can do to help, please call my cell phone number, as she is without a phone at this time. The sooner the better. Again I'm trying to help my best friend. Anything will help. Thank you so much for your time in reading my email. I'm just so worried about my friend. Thank again.

Please anything will help with the 3 day notice of eviction. I have a 2 year old little girl and can't imagine seeing her homeless.

Hello,
I am a senior student here at Youngstown state university. I am very embarrassed that I have to find help but It's gotten to the point where eviction May happen because I lost funding for school and my school housing. I am in Youngstown Ohio and just looking for a one time assistance something to help me get it paid and I work even harder to make sure it will never have to ask anyone again to help... I appreciate the fact that there are people out here wanting to help people in need. Being a religious studies major and in ministry on campus I've learned a lot about being humble and humility... If I cannot get help it’s OK. I know god won't let me stay down for long.
Again thank you.
God bless,

No agency would ever have (or offer) $3300 to prevent an eviction. Sounds like you are unfortunately way over your head and asked for help too late. You may need to look for a shelter, move in with friends/family, etc. As far as you seeking someone to call you, locate a number of eviction prevention programs by state and county. So try them.
