Re: Help getting Propane
Good day,
As I am currently receiving short-term disability from work, I am seeking assistance to get propane to help me stay warm in the winter. Could you please provide information on any potential programs available in the Rock Hill SC area that may assist me with this matter?

Re: Out of propane
Hello
I would like to check eligibility on assistance with propane cost. As my home ran out of Propane for the upcoming season.
I am 58 years old on disability (heart issues). I do have assistance with EBT.
Maybe there are other things I could use help with in addition to propane to refill my tank. I need help with Cell phone, Verizon and Internet, Hughes Net.
I live in a house that is off grid owned by my mother and she lives across the street.
Please advise.
Thank you kindly

Re: Family of four needs Propane in Buchanan County Virginia
Hi Lisa
Buchanan is a small, sparsely populated area of Virginia. So programs are not common, but look into statewide programs for propane help. Namely from the community action agencies in the state, and find details here on Virginia community action grants.

Do you use Amerigas? As they are the nation's largest propane company. If so, here are resources. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... grams.html

Delivery of propane
Hello, I live outside of Welch Oklahoma, Craig County. I'm trying to find some help in getting some propane delivered to my home. I ran out Sunday and being without heat since then. I was pre-approved for LIHEAP, but it hasn't put into my account yet.
I talked to my service provider (which is a cash account) and ask if there is any way I could get something worked out which the manager said if I got a copy of the LIHEAP approval letter to them, he would consider it as a promissory note and would be able to get a delivery set up. Plus, new policy is you have to buy 200 gallons in order for them to deliver. Well, I send the letter via email immediately, since then I have called several times, but the manager is out of the office, and no one knows when he be back, and I ask if there is anyone else, I could talk to but was told no.
I'm on disability and have limited resources to get the propane delivered, and with current prices I just don't have any way to pay for it. I have tried several other agencies with no luck so far, every place I talked to is out of funding and other places I left a message but no response yet. I'm hoping there is someplace that can help me with getting some propane delivered since this is my only source of heat. I don't know who else to contact, the area I live in is pretty rural and there isn't much available. I don't have internet except on my phone which at best is iffy. I hope there is any kind of help you can offer or refer me to.
I appreciate any help you can provide me.
Thank you
Welch, OK 74369

Re: Propane or Butane to heat our home
LIHEAP grants cover butane and propane. Apply. If you were on the phone for too long, then drive to an office. Or take a bus. Or have someone drive you. Face to face is always better. But learn more on LIHEAP. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tance.html

Re: Propane or Butane to heat our home
There is information on programs for propane bills. If you want $200 for propane, then try LIHEAP. Or since you have so many adults in the home, why are they not working? Then they can use that income to pay their bills. Anyway, find Ameriagas assistance programs for propane bills.

They only need $200 more dollars so that the company will come out and put more propane (or even Butane) in the tank for them. There are 3 children living in the home along with 2 adults. This is their only source of heat, cooking and being able to bath. His girlfriend has been trying Community Resources in our area but has not had any luck in reaching someone there. I am asking you to please email me back places that will be willing to help them raise the last $200 that they need for propane, please and thank you. Thank You, Corrina

Re: Help getting Propane
Help getting propane for winter. Propane heat is the only source of heat I have in my home. I have a 2 1/2 year old grand-daughter that lives with me. My husband of 30 years passed away 7/15. And I'm not old enough for widow benefits for 3 more years. I only have my income at this time. There are 4 of us living in my home. I simply don’t have the extra funds to fill up my propane tank for winter months. Any info, or help you can provider will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Re: Propane or Butane to heat our home
To whom it may concern,
I was looking for a form to fill out to receive help with propane for heating and I could not find one. We are a family of 5 with only one person working, 3 out of the 5 are children. Our daughter is our medically needed child. She has kidney disease. We have oil for heating and it is very difficult to pay to have oil delivered or propane for our tank. If there is any help, we would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Help getting Propane
Who is your distributor? Is it Amerigas? As they are the largest propane company in the US. They do offer payment plans, financial aid and other resources. Find how to get assistance with Amerigas propane bills.

I just ran out of propane so at the time and can no longer use my stove to cook. I am on a fixed income due to disability and I cannot afford the minimum 50 gallons it will cost for the propane company to deliver and I also can't find a program that will help. If you know of any program I could possible apply for I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Financial help for filling our propane tank
Hey, I live in Steeleville Illinois. I recently rented a trailer and didn't know that I had to pay to fill up the propane tank. I called Midwestern propane in Sparta IL and they told me it would cost over $400 to fill up the tank and they aren't able to do a little at a time. I am not able to afford over $400 due to recently losing my job at glister Mary Lee however I have orientation for a different plant through gilsters on Thursday December 22. If there is any way you can help then PLEASE get back to me ASAP.

Re: Family of four needs Propane
Paying $610 is a huge barrier. Why is the entire amount due in advance for the propane? Is your credit that bad? As they should allow some type of payment plan, at least we hope. Or try another source of heat until you save up enough, such are are the Amerigas assistance programs for you.

Re: Help getting Propane
I live in a mobile home in Katy, TX. I have lived here for 17 years. I have a vision disability that prevents me from driving more than a mile from home. I live alone and am reaching my 60th birthday. I do work for a storage cener just a mile from home. The income is very low and I struggle paycheck to paycheck just to pay for the necessary living expenses.
I have a propane tank that through a company that I need to heat my trailer. They demand that I fill the tank up before they will put propane in it. I just don't have 400.00 to do it.
It is very cold in here. I have to pay them rent on the propane tank twice a year at 56.13 in March and October. I have managed to get that done giving up food to pay them. Is there any way you can help me get propane to heat my home? I can't drive to you. I haven't had a pair of glasses in years or any treatment for my eyes. I do pay for health care through my employer, but, can't afford to use it. Is there any way you can help me?
