Also, a charity in North Carolina to help with utility bills is Crisis Assistance Ministry. However, they are in Charlotte.

I recommend paying the hospital bills last. A hospital is very unlikely to sue you if the bill goes unpaid, and they are one of the bills that can be postponed. Good luck.

In ohio, sign up for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), that puts in place a maximum a customer can pay is 10 percent of their monthly income to their heating and gas company and 5 percent of their income to to their electric company. It puts a cap on your expenses.
