Expected top selling Christmas toys for 2017

The list below in compiled from data released by both Wal-Mart, survey firm Argus as well as other top retailers including amazon What it does is it shows what toys are expected to be top sellers this upcoming Christmas season. While it is impossible to know exactly what will or won’t sell during the 2017 shopping season, this is the best “guess” from the various retailers using consumer data as well as surveys.

As noted, the list below is in no particular order. As it is impossible to know the exact volume of a toy to be sold. However, what this list does do is it provides parents some insight as to what their kid may request from Santa for 2017. It is some of the “hottest” toys that kids of all age may want. Parents can then cross reference this list against some price comparison data and then start to save money for these gifts. As they still have several months to save.

Unfortunately the cost of some of these toys may be very high. Especially for those households that live paycheck to paycheck, which is most Americans. So start saving, or cut back on the budget in other places. We never recommend using loans or borrowing money to pay for Christmas gifts.

Or if the family has no chance to buy one of these toys on their own (maybe their income is too low or Christmas gift is too expense) then they can start to ask around at some local charities for help. As there are countless groups, such as the Salvation Army, US Marine Corps, churches, etc. that offer holiday help. They can give toys, food, serve meals, and more. In fact, here is a list of free Christmas toy and gift programs and the agencies that run them.

Note the number of requests for help at Christmas always exceeds supply. This trend is expected to continue in 2017 as well. This means that the parent should apply early if they want assistance. So be prepared to get one of these top selling toys as early as September or so; so right now!

But the good news is that all of the toys, games, presents, etc. from retailers such as Wal-Mart will be free. As long as the qualifications are met, such as around income and kids age, there are many charities that will offer assistance this upcoming 2017 Christmas season.
