Where in Richmond VA area can I get help with bills?

Good morning:
My name is Bridgette, up until September 29 I was healthy and able to perform my job at Amazon in its warehouse facility. On the morning of Jan.29th, I became sick (blood was not connecting to my brain) I blacked out and fell busting my ankle in seven places causing me to need to operate on. I did have the surgery but now my employer Amazon will not grant me FMLA because I had not been there long enough and I was a part-time employee at the time so no short-term disability to cover my end of the bills with my husband, so now we have only one income while I wait to see if the state will approve me for disability. My husband and I are just hardworking people that want to take care of our family but right now we need a little helping hand. I am writing to find out if you have any assistance in Virginia near the Richmond area that will help with electricity, rent, or food? We are not trying to get behind with rent or electric.
