I've done all I could, and I don't know where else to turn in the Buffalo area I'm a single mother of 1, and I was employed until I was injured. I can't work at the moment, but everything has gone downhill since then. I barely receive enough SNAP for 1 person and I've reached out to my caseworker with no response so running low on food.
I have a high light bill coming up and already got an extension on it from last month because it was so high and have to pay that as well which makes no sense because I don't use that much energy and there doesn't seem to be any organizations that are open or have funding to assist me with that. Rent is due next month but the place is not exactly insulated properly because it still gets cold in here in Erie County and the heat doesn't push out enough to keep the cold out and the landlord is not fixing anything. I
was in the middle of working on moving out before I was injured, but now I'm just stuck here which may not be for long since I don't know how I'm going to pay the rent next month. I've applied for section 8 last year and am still on a waiting list that has not moved up and has no plans on moving up until next year. I feel like I just owe everybody and everything and have no way to get assistance from anywhere in NY or Erie County. I apologize for being so long-winded. Thank you!

Hello do yall help with rent and utilities? My name is Randy and me and my fiance live in a small apartment in Tonawanda New York and we’re afraid we might end up losing the roof over our head. We struggle for food and to pay for rent and sometimes our utilities.
I work 2 jobs but any money I make goes towards bills. I’m a hard working man and still don’t make enough andwe struggle even to buy toilet paper and toiletries to even have good hygiene. I don’t have much clothes. That’s a pain to even buy when I need to get new clothes but out rent is due October first and as of now I’m pretty short on the money to pay. Ut it’s much of an emergency. I don’t know if y’all cash app or if y’all Venmo the money to people but I’d really appreciate it of any help. I’m only 20, she’s about the same age. We live on our own so much appreciated
