Sorry to hear that story. Horrible. But a bus ticket program, especially from FL to Denver is a major trip. Some charities offer local bus / greyhound tickets, but what you need is rare. But you can try - see our guide to free or low-cost bus tickets.

I moved to Gainesville from Denver Colorado. Since I have got here nothing has worked out. I came here with a friend who I since found out had been lying to me the whole time. He was born in Florida and only used me for the gas money to get back. I was promised a job and a place to stay. None if that happened. I’m now homeless in a state I have zero resources in. My sole means of income is a monthly disability amount of $1184.
Siblings that might help me pay my bills either don't have to means or refuse to help.
Until now I have received support from my ex-husband who will be discontinuing his support at any time.
I share living quarters with my son who is currently a student in Gainesville Florida.
I have checked on a monthly basis to see is the Gainesville Housing Authority is accepting applications for housing choice vouchers for the past year. They haven't.
