I am currently in a situation where I had to switch jobs because of health problems with previous warehouse position now, I am a car sales representative working my way through training hoping this will be a great career. Before I switch jobs, I realized I had some pretty serious water and oil damage in different parts of my ceiling in my apartment. Maintenance made it clear one spot was oil damage. Then a water spot also in the living room he tried to say was just the paint changing color. After he saw my reaction, he tried to say it wasn't a big deal he could spray paint on it. Another spot in my kitchen where one of my lights are water damage. You can see doom has already started to develop and two cracks coming from my light. Managers refuse to enforce work to be done saying in quote, "As long as it is not leaking it is not a problem." I am a neat person and do not have much in my apartment but since these problems there have been an increase in water bugs. I told the manager I refuse to pay rent until this work is done. She said they were going to fix the problem. After it took me 3 times including email to get in contact with them. It has been almost two months. I need help trying to find a good lawyer to get my money back and try to move on without this place causing problems on my record.
I apologize for the long email, this has just been a very stressful situation.
