Hi,
Since you have no heat, sounds unsafe and no "immediate" possibility of help, try a shelter in the area using our list of housing in NW Florida at https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... t_ter.html
There is also a Disability Resource Center in Panama City. Maybe the center, link at https://www.drcpc.org/, may offer you tips on both your application and resources.

This is why everything has gone downhill for me. I have no income. I have been waiting for my disability to go through, which has been going on for almost 2 1/2 years, and I have not been released from my doctors’ care to go back to work, so I have no income at all. I have begged and borrowed from people to where I can't do it anymore, because I have no money to back it up. Nothing has fallen through for me. The winter months are here. I have no heat. I am currently using my oven to stay warm, and I am scared every night, every day, that this place might catch on fire. I am just needing some help for a couple of months, until hopefully this disability case gets approved so that I can get back up on my feet and start living a normal life that I call being happy. So, if I can get some assistance SOS as soon as possible, I would truly appreciate it. I have nowhere else to turn in Florida or the Panama City area. I have no family, thank God for friends, but they're all tapped out. If someone could please get back in touch with me, I would truly appreciate this. Thank you.

Hi,
Since you mentioned rent of $1050 that is due, try this for places that help pay rent in Panama City.

We have programs for other needs too, such as food for your kids, utility help, and so much more. Try this for the general Bay County FL financial resources. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... grams.html

Hi , I’m having a difficult time finding help with paying my rent this month and getting groceries. I’ve recently lost my job as a dispatcher for an electrical company. I have 2 small children and I’m a single mother located in Panama City Florida. My rent is 1050 not to mention other bills.
