Hi,
The 6 that came down and people helped - do they have any recommendations for you? But removing a tree, or helping doing it, will be hard to find. Maybe try Habitat for Humanity, a local church or someone like that. But you also need someone experienced and ensured, as it is dangerous work not to mention insurance to protect your house. Anyway try this for information on charitable home repairs including tree removals.

I am single, 61 and raising two grandchildren. I don't work in order to homeschool my grandchildren who have special needs.
I have a tree that was planted by a previous owner. It is dying due to growing into the deck. The tornado that came through in May further damaged the tree. Six others came down but I was able to get those cleaned up with help. I have tried calling several numbers looking for assistance. I can not afford $2000 to have the tree removed. I broke my back last summer trying to clear gutters so I am not able to even attempt cutting it up myself. I have been lucky so far. Large branches have fallen from the tree on the deck or in a direction away from my home. I fear my luck is running out as the tree continues to die and pose a threat to my family and home.
