Hello, my name is Maryann, I have been trying to find out how to apply for Christmas assistance for my children, so they can have a merry Christmas, we live in Grand Rapids, section of Michigan. I haven't been able to get a job yet and with my Fiancé the only one working we just don’t have money to buy the children gifts for Christmas. While of course a charity or program can change by the day, if they run out of resources, the Grand Rapids holiday programs are updated and accurate. I am a home visitor in Grand Rapids, MI working with families and babies/toddlers. When searching for assistance for Christmas in Kent County, your entry came up. I am not sure of when this entry was updated. I would like to pass it along to my team but am wary. Could you please verify the site is legitimate? I see that you have many other programs on the site (not just Grand Rapids) and would not be familiar with our area. How did you compile your resource list? Just checking legitimacy before sharing with families.
