Hi Shaline,
If the bus ticket is needed for a job, you are more than likely to get some form of help. The list of places in King County that offer assistance with King County Metro or the Sound Transit bus tickets (to try) is here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... ogram.html

We also have some general information on bus tickets and passes, and that info is here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... asses.html

The County and city also have a program you can try for a discounted ticket. It is from Human Services and known as the " Human Services Bus Ticket Program". Those details are here. https://www.kingcounty.gov/en/legacy/de ... et-program

Hi! My name is Shaline. I've met with one of your representatives earlier this year regarding housing assistance. Now I need to inquire about bus fare vouchers, or something similar to that, if it is available in Seattle.
In order to reclaim my life, I need to find a job in the Seattle area which pays a livable wage. For me, that means a minimum of $20/hour. The jobs where I'm guaranteed to earn that much are in Seattle. I'm currently staying in Mountlake Terrace. I just need to be able to get to & from job interviews, and then, once employed, I need to get to & from work for those first two weeks till my first paycheck. Then I can load up my ORCA card, and I'll be all set! Transportation, which for now is a bus pass, is the key to regaining my independence but I don't have money to pay for the tickets. I really hope you can help, or direct me to where I can find help for a bus ticket!
My Sincere Thanks,
