It really depends on where you live...county, state, city, etc. As there are many programs that help kids get school supplies. In fact, most really give out say a free backpack full of supplies based on the kids age. But local here for free school backpacks for 2024.

My name is Jodie and I was looking for some help for my 3 kids. I am currently divorcing from and relationship that isn't very healthy and my kids need backpacks and supplies for the school year.
I have been a stay-at-home mother and wife for 11 years and my husband just left out of the blue. I have three kids and my husband put a 30 day notice on our house and I am not working and I have nowhere to go. My kids need clothes and backpacks for school. I haven't been able to buy clothes and shoes. Stuff like that for them and I was wondering if you could help me?
