Good for you in finding that one church and taking initiative to apply. But there are other programs in Cumberland County that you can apply to for rent help, utility assistance and other support. Most cover your town of Newville PA, and look here for the programs that may help you.

Hello, my name is Dayshia. I am currently on assistance and I just returned back to work from having off for the summer I wasn't sure if anyone could help me with covering the rest of my rent that I need covered.
I live in Newville PA (Cumberland County) and I have already used the Church in Newville for help when I first moved in I have been living here for almost a year in November and never have been late or failed to pay rent except for the above time stated before I have two young boys and nowhere to go if we get kicked out. I am a bus driver and I do work every day.
And faithfully show and I am keeping this job I just need the little help this on month since returning back. I was recovering unemployment but when I started back I thought I would get a final check from them and I didn't I only received a partial. Therefore, that is what is holding me back from being able to pay my rent this month.
The only other bill I have to pay is my electric bill and that was only 11.04 so I was able to pull that together and get that covered. I am out of help; my family cannot help me and no one around me in Cumberland County is able to either. This is the only reason I am reaching out here as to I don't want to lose my apartment and become living on the streets with two babies.
The amount of rent I owe is 550.00 for the month of September the landlord said he will be sending out an eviction notice if I don't have it paid by the 14th. If you could please help me in any way that would be great. Even if is just telling me where to go in Cumberland County or if you give me help it's only 300 of it.
