At this time, I am seeking help with food. Due to being a single mother, I have fallen behind in rent and other living expenses and got no food for my kids. This has come at a time when I was expecting to move up to Phoenix but ended up having to stay and now, I may be facing eviction as my income has been reduced. I’m used to be on the other side of the fence so I’m not familiar with programs that could have assisted me.
I have emailed a food pantry, the food stamp office and called my rental agency and they have just informed me of an eviction to make things worse.

Hi Phyllis
Since you have multiple needs (food, rent help, etc.) maybe try SVDP in Phoenix. They also have counseling that will help you save more money. SVDP info is here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... ul_as.html

Of course, this in addition to the food banks noted as well above listed here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... banks.html

My name is Phyllis. I live in Phoenix AZ. I was evicted from my apartment and live with a friend now while I save money. But can I get free food somewhere so I can save my money to restart? I tried a pantry but they wouldn't even work with me. I work 2 jobs. I have been staying at an extended living suite with my friend. I need help with food, bills and really assistance. Thank you.

Hi Katie (and Madison)
There are many places for free food in Phoenix and across Maricopa County. Some even deliver. But both charity and church run food pantries give out groceries, hygiene supplies and other stuff that may benefit your kids. Locate the free food programs in Phoenix AZ. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... banks.html

Hello. This is Katie. I am looking for some assistance for food to feed my kids. I have 3 children, 2 are older. I’m mostly concerned for my 11 year old daughter, Madison.
I started my own cleaning business a few years ago but since COVID I lost the majority of my clients. I am struggling to pay bills & buy food in Phoenix. We are behind in bills and owed credit card bills for our groceries.
I am very worried about feeding my kids & I would not ask for free food if I didn’t desperately need it. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or options in Phoenix. I just want to see a smile on her face every morning. She’s had a tough year & she deserves it.
I look forward to hearing from someone.
