Hi,
Have you applied for SSI disability since you have a brain injury? As a $200 month rent increase seems high and since you rent, you need recurring benefits such as SSI. But for one time help, there are some grant programs for disabled people, which a brain injury would qualify. Look at this for details on grants for disabled people. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... rants.html

Hi,
I am getting in contact today as I am currently going through an extremely difficult time financially, following a recent very large car accident and brain Injuries that I am also struggling with. I am a single parent, I'm out of work temporarily due to the accident, my bills are adding up significantly, I have a rent increase next month by $200 and I am really struggling after the impact of everything that's happened.
I wanted to discuss if there were any help eligible to me for rent, bills, schooling costs, food etc.
Honestly just anything that could help me and my children get back on our feet and back to a normal life. Any help as I deal with a brain injury would be truly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
