But it seems like there are also national groups for correctional officers, uch as the family assistance programs from Correctional Peace Officers Foundation. Those details are here. https://cpof.org

He was exposed to COVID during a prisoner transport who was positive for COVID. His work failed to give him an N95 mask because they were short on supply. He then tested positive and was forced to take mandatory leave without pay. COVID then hit our entire household including my pregnant self, 1 yr, 2 yr, 8 yr, 11 yr and 13 yr. Since having COVID our household can’t seem to catch a break. A few weeks after we got sick again. Our 2 yr old tested positive for strep, rhinovirus 1 and 2 and broke out in a rash head to toe. Our 1 year old later caught the same thing. Because I’m a high risk pregnancy my doctor put me on bed rest so my husband had to take more time off (unpaid) to care for our smaller children. We have fallen behind on electric, water and rent. We are in dire need of help, and we tried the helpline for correctional officers at the jail but no luck. We need help since no one can help us because we used them in the past during the height of COVID. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
