Hey Emilie Since she's in Raleigh, have her call Wake County Health & Human Services first and that is 919-212-7000 and ask if they have any emergency financial assistance or can refer her to a program that can help keep her housed. I'd also have her contact Alliance Health's Access and Information Center at 800-510-9132. They mainly handle mental health services and we help in other ways with resources for the county.
For rent, also try Raleigh Area Ministries at 919-828-9014, https://www.raleighareaministries.org/)since they sometimes have eviction prevention help or a few bucks to pay some rent. And of course the typical The Salvation Army of Wake County 919-834-6733 if she already has a notice or is behind. If she's only working a couple events a month, she should also apply for NC unemployment if she lost her full-time job, even if she's still getting a little income now from work as sometimes (check with the state of NC) they will help with some funds.

She is experiencing a severe mental health crisis and has recently lost her main source of income, being her full-time job as a server.
She has limited savings and is at risk of not being able to pay rent this month and becoming unhoused. Her family is not available to help during this time, and I live in a different state so I can only do so much to help.
If there are any possible grants that she can apply for, to help her pay her bills this month while she finds another full-time job, I would greatly appreciate that information.
She is a single, young person and is not technically unemployed as she has a position at a local venue where she works by event. Those events happen about twice a month so it’s not enough to cover her bills.
Thank you in advance for your time and your help, in advance.
If speaking on the phone is preferred I will leave my phone number.
Have a nice day!
