My name is Kimberly and I'm desperately needing assistance with my bills and maybe getting put on section 8 for a home in Lakeland. I have 2 small kids ages 4 and 7 and a single parent. I'm currently out of work due to transportation for my children to and from school. My bills are piling up and I don't know which way to turn. I have put in over 400 apps through indeed looking for a job that will allow me the hours during school time due to no help with my kids. My light bill was due weeks ago and I had it extended until the 23rd and still nothing has come through as far as a job. My kids’ father does pay 90 a week for child support but that is not paying the expenses. Please lead me in the right direction as to where I need to go to get financial help as soon as possible! Hello my name is Cassandra from Lakeland Florida and I am a single mother of a 10 year old boy. I have been sick and recently had surgery and am in the process of having more. I was also just diagnosed with cancer and I have not been able to get back to work. We currently are 2 months behind on rent and have no one that will help us. Hello, I'm a current resident of Lakeland Polk County, FL. I'm currently struggling to pay this month's rent and utilities due my minor child testing positive with Covid. So I had to miss work to help care for him as he got really sick. I'm a single mother trying to make ends meet as it is. He has been quarantine from school for a few days, as well as myself from work for 10 days. I do plan to return to work by end of next week.
