Hi, my name is Becky and I am emailing you to ask you for help paying my bills. Like many parents, I have a son who does not work and sits around doing mostly nothing. I was let go from my job three months ago. Now, I am unable to pay my bills. I am 69 years old and I have a son who lives with me but does not work - he plays games, drinks and is like many young males these days. I am not married.
I get social security in the amount of $1259 monthly. With that money, I am able to pay rent, one other bill, and some groceries, but not all. None of my bills are for credit cards; they are all necessity bills for my non-working son. My bills are: rent-$600, car payment-$304.09, propane (for heating) is $340 per month, utilities (electricity) $60 per month, and internet $347 per month. The $347 includes a past due amount. I have to have internet because, when I am working, I work from home and have to have internet to do my job.
I am currently overdrawn in my checking account of $134. This is because of two payday loans that comes out every other Friday. The first one is $54 biweekly and the second one is $22 biweekly. My grocery bill is around 625 every month. Then I have a doctor bill that needs to be paid in the amount of $179, plus four prescriptions in the amount of $76.
I know this is a lot to ask of you. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

There are free job training programs (listed in the link here) as well as financial assistance on the site. Maybe make the son look into them? Or something. Find job training near you.
