Hi, my name is Ashley Hardin and I'm a 34-year-old single mother of 3 but 3 months ago my ex-husband won custody of our 9-year-old son broody. I couldn't afford an attorney and he could. He won because he’s more financially stable but he’s the reason my sons and I are in this mess and I am way in debt and I needed to take out personal loans. After a 10-year marriage where I put up with a lot of bad things and in the end, he got everything he wanted and the kids and I were left with nothing but bills, medical debt and struggles. It's a long, sad story which I can talk about later.
So now it's just me and 2 of my sons. I've worked full time these past 2 years of being single after 10 years of being a stay-at-home mother. I love working and supporting my family, but I never make enough and I'm currently looking for a second part-time job and have an interview Tuesday night after work, and I'm signed up for paid outpatient clinical trials.
I just paid rent $875 using a loan and I've been broke these past 3 months because when my ex won custody of our son, I was ordered to pay 250 every month to him for child support and the 500 a month I used to get from him is gone so now I'm losing 750 dollars each month that I used to have and it has hurt my family SOOO much. I’m behind on all my bills and have huge loans due as well as credit card and desperate for help. My credit is in the 400 because I have so much medical debt and I'll never be able to buy a home, and I don’t know where to turn or what to do.
When I start my second job, I'll never see my kids besides in the morning when I get them off to school and when I come in late from work. I pray a lot and I rely on God because he’s all we have. If you can’t help doing you know who can? Thank you.

Well, your current is pretty generic. If you need debt help, there are programs in PA, including non-profit credit counseling. Or grants to pay bills, charities and other agencies are there. Look here for Pennsylvania hardship programs.

The housing authority said if I pay them the money I owe, then I could move back into their apartment complexes once the debt has been paid off in full. I don't know the exact amount that I owe them, I think it is around seventeen hundred and something dollars ($1700) or eighteen hundred and something dollars ($1800). Is there any programs that could help me out with paying off my huge debt, maybe using another huge loan at a lower rate? Please, I really need someone's help. I am having a very hard time where I live and the people around me have been giving me a hard time as well. I have been left with a huge debt load to figure out on my own since my husband abused me and I was awarded a restraining order and am filing for divorce. My rent for this month as well as my gas and electric still have not been paid and landlord is giving me until Wednesday before they begin the eviction process. I have 2 kids, 11 and 13 and I really want to show them that good will come from this tragedy but with all this debt loan and eviction a possibility I am having to work every day so they have kind of lost both parents right now and I have no one to help with the debt load.
