Hi, I have a friend who is an RN and is a homeowner. The person is disabled from the nursing job. Her furnace recently broke, and the cost of replacing it is beyond her means.

I'm a disabled RN, single mom to 1 kid. My son is 3 and I live with my parents. My son is going to school next year but I will be living at home. My child support was just cut in half by the court as they say I am not really disabled and babies daddy not working. I am having back surgery next month and my mom has mental health issues. I'm in desperate need for financial assistance to help pay my rent, get groceries (I don't qualify for food stamps), and stuff for my son. Any financial help would mean the world to me. I never thought I'd be in this position and I am ashamed to be asking for help.
