If you husband makes enough for the bills, will the landlord offer a payment plan? Or why can't you work too? That way you can both contribute to paying the rent as you apply for
homeless prevention programs in Louisiana. You need 2 incomes...it sounds like it anyway. And there are tons of jobs in Lafayette.

I am desperately searching for help. We are 2 months behind on rent and about to lose our home. My husband works and makes enough to pay our bills but not bills and back pay. We have two young boys who live with us. I have been making calls like crazy for 2 weeks and getting the runaround.
We live I'm Lafayette LA. My husband was unemployed for a while and has only been back to work for a few months. Our landlord is becoming Impatient. Please point me in the right direction we have no family to lean on for support.
