My name is Martha, I have been living in my car, working at BK and sleeping on friends’ couches for almost six months. My husband left me and my son with nothing, and we had nowhere else to turn. I have tried other local services but can't seem to get anywhere. We found a home a few weeks ago and the lady is willing to work with me, however I can't afford to pay for lights or the deposit. I just need a break; I finally found a job at the Burger King, and I am praying to start next week. I thought I had seen a small light at the end of this dark tunnel when I found this house but everywhere I turned it seemed to lead to another dead end. Please help my son and I, we need a stable home again. I'm all out of options and have nowhere else to turn.

Hello, this is Sandra. I recently was hospitalized and have an infection in my spine which is osteomyelitis and has started to spread throughout my organs. I am missing lots of income from my job at Burger King. Now I must be on intravenous antibiotics daily. Which has kept me from being able to work.
I am employed at Burger King I have just not had medical clearance to go back to work. I have been in and out of the Hospital since July. My utility bill which is the water has been disconnected for a few days now and I have social services which is helping me probably going to pay half, but they were wanting me to reach out to see if I could have someone help pay the remaining balance if you could please give me a call. I live in St Augustine Florida or email me back please.

Sorry to hear that roommate stuck you with the bills. Good for you for working now and looking for another job. We do have a list of gig economy jobs you can try. As you apply for rent help too.

Hi, I'm in need of assistance with my rent. I'm a manager at Buger king. I'm doing really well, but I had a roommate she got in trouble so it left me to pay her part of the bills.
So now as of this month I'm stuck trying to pay my rent. My landlord has given me a little lead way, but he said that I half to have it soon. I'm trying to pick up an extra job so I can catch up. I've never asked for assistance before, but no stuck. Thank you,
