Hi Teresa and all,
Is the Asperger’s so "intense" that a disability application may be warranted? As so many people say they are neuro divergent, on the spectrum, autistic, etc. but all that is relative. Some people are just a "hint" while others with Asperger or various conditions are debilitating. Either way, there are grant programs for the disabled which may help the family member, and find them here.

Hi, my name is Teresa and I live in Southwest Virginia. I live by with one family member that has Asperger’s, is unemployed and on the spectrum. I'm facing eviction and I can't pay any of my bills as my employment history is bad. I don't have my GED, and limited work experience, 48 years old.
I would appreciate any advice or help you could give me. I've applied to a dozen jobs, but I never get an interview. I also have a history of drugs, and have been going to a clinic for 2 years and receiving medication and have been drug-free those 2 years.
I've gotten myself in a position that I can't recover from without help and my Asperger kid does not help either. I'm a good worker and eager to learn as much as I can; but I don't know where to start, and I'm afraid. I'm on my own, no other capable family and 1 good friend that I can turn to, accept their pretty much in the same position that I am in. Any advice that you can give me will be much appreciated.

I’m a single mother of 6 kids, 2 of who have Asperger, and I’m in need of help. I’m homeless and do not have a way of paying the coast. Of a hotel room well searching for an apartment the unit that I had was infested. With mice and roaches. So I asked landlord to help and exterminate. He did nothing so I reported him to health department after that I was given an eviction. Notes and kick out on the streets. I’m trying so hard to help my family together.

I'm 5 months pregnant and having hard time finding work. I'm staying with family and friends. My boyfriend works part time and we need to get an apartment to raise our child in a stable environment. I also want to be able to finish my nursing school.
I know it takes years to receive assistance but I'm hoping this might be little faster. Would like to find a place in Mayfield where I would be taking care of my younger sister with Asperger’s autism.
