need help with rent

Hi, I need help paying rent, only programs I can find are for families or single parents. Im not eligible because I dont have any children.
Are there any programs that will help a single person living on there own who just needs a one time helping hand here in Florida.

In Florida try the The Emergency Financial Assistance for Housing Program (EFAHP). The EFAHP housing assistance program provides a one-time payment of up to $400 to people who face the loss of their home or shelter because of non-payment of their rent or mortgage, and it also helps those who are totally without shelter and homeless.
I suggesst contacting your local community action agency for more information on the Florida Emergency Financial Assistance for Housing Program as well as other options you may have.
