Assistance paying property taxes in South Carolina

Is there someone a person can speak with to see if they can go on a payment plan for property taxes? I am not able to pay the taxes in full, but I am willing to work with a payment plan for so much to be taken each month. Can you assist me with this? The taxes are for property taxes in a rural area in South Carolina.

A couple options. You need to contact your local assessor and ask them this
You can also try to challenge your assessment, and here is some info on how to do so. It is free to do, and you can lower your property taxes

Last, but not least, you can try a consultant. They can advise you on how to save on taxes, challenge your assessment for you. Many work on a contigency basis, so you only pay them if they save you money.
