Hi Tim and all,
Try the Agency on Aging centers in Illinois. They can help seniors and elderly people, with more details here.

Hi, My name is Tim, I'm reaching out to you for assistance on behalf of a family in Chicago. The family consists of an elderly mother caring for her disabled son and is currently facing financial challenges. They are urgently in need of a donated car to facilitate regular doctor visits and hospital trips.
I came across your contact information via Google and hope you could either help them directly or guide them to an organization that can offer assistance for elderly people that are parents. If you are unable to provide support, please consider connecting them with a relevant organization in IL.
I appreciate your discretion in handling this matter, as I am only involved through a mutual friend who asked for my assistance.

Have you thought about her moving from the home so you won't have the expense of upkeep? Sounds like she isn't in the position to maintain and pay for where she is, it may just be too much for her. Maybe a over 55 or retirement complex.

Have an elderly mother who resides in Illinois who is in need of assistance with home repairs, utility assistances, poor water supply from rusty pipes in the home, mortgage assistance. She only receives Social Security benefits and Medicare. Receives monetary assistance from me and my sister which helps out a little. Need help on finding local agencies in Chicago, Illinois that will assist my elderly mother. Thanks.
