Re: Hospital operation upcoming and have no insurance

Hello,
I am writing on behalf of my fiancé. He is an Army Veteran who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and a problem with his mitral valve. He has no health insurance, and we cannot pay for any of these bills.
We have gone to the Utah Cardiology Office in Farmington, and Davis Hospital for help. He was admitted to Davis Hospital for two days and was discharged today.
He does not have insurance right now, and we keep hearing that he needs an angiogram and a valve replacement. The cardiologist and the hospital have told us that he is not a priority, and the waitlist for the VA is not moving forward.
We have no idea how we are going to be able to pay for all of this, and it is causing his (and my) mental health to deteriorate.
Do you have, or know of, any kind of programs that could help in this situation?
