To whom this may concern,
I am Writing on behalf of my cousin. She is a single mother of 4. She has no help with finances from the fathers, no child support and she just had to have unexpected surgery and is out of work and is very upset worrying if she will be able to even pay all the bills let alone school supplies for her kids this fall. If there is any resources to get her kids the stuff they need (grades 3 to 11) I can sign her up for to help out please let me know.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that about Stockton CA area. Did you try the Salvation Army there? As they often have last minute programs are can refer people to local school supply (and even upcoming holiday) events, with details here.
https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... ssist.html
Also try the United Way, as they cover Stockton too and have school supply events like here.

Thank you, for responding to my letter. I've been searching each one of the websites and every one of the organizations in Stockton, CA are not taking any more kids sign ups this year and they can't help me with my list of school supplies. The list is closed, no more tickets, already passed out all the gifts they have for the year.

Hi,
Kindergarten supplies generally are less expensive - more accessible. So we will send you a couple options - one for more national school supply giveaways and a more local program for Charlotte County.. Look here for the
list of school supply giveaways.
A place to try in Charlotte County Florida is here, with the Salvation Army being the main location as noted here.

The list is closed, no more tickets, already passed out all the gifts they have for the year. I'm so disappointed in this situation because I was really hoping I could handle getting a quick job where I could have took care of a school season like normal mothers do. This is total last minute help I'm looking for and it’s embarrassing enough to even ask. Then to hear it’s too late, so how did all these other families sign up for these tickets for gifts if its cutoff date is in September & October. Basically they knew about the programs and sign up every year.
What about the mothers like me who seek assistance once in a lifetime and is turned down. Well I hope the rules and deadlines change. It’s going to be a good Christmas because you answered my need with all those options Thanks Anyways but Christmas is going to miss us. That's a new country song.

Hello, I'm sending this email because I need assistant in paying my rent and paying off old school supplies. I had a note place on my door saying that I have to have $261.80 pay on the 7th of this month. My address is Savannah, Ga 31401. I'm reaching out to you for help. I don't have any income coming in but my child SSI and that’s $490 a month. I just paid my light bill an it was $284.83 and I had to buy school supplies, uniform, backpacks an etc. I'm a single mom with three kids ages 6, 4 & 3. I have two girls and a son. My oldest child was born with NO hearing in the right ear and 50% of hearing in the left ear so his school supplies also needed hearing aids. By the grace of God she is doing okay. But if you can help me with some assistance by helping paying my rent I will be very appreciative.
Thank you,

Try this for
free school supplies in Fort Worth Texas.
If you have a list of items you need, that is great. But you can only get what people donated to the local Fort Worth charities...in other words, beggars can't be choosers.

Hi. I am searching for information on assistance with a list of school supplies I need. I live in Temple, TX. Bus service here is minimal so I can't get to a charity - can you give me the supplies if I send you a list? I own my car but cannot afford to repair or replace it. I greatly appreciate any information or assistance you can give.

Good afternoon, I have 4 children, 1 in middle school, 2 going to High school and 1 starting Fayetteville NC community college and I have not and will have a difficult getting them school supplies and clothing for this upcoming school year.
We were victims of a neighbor exposing himself in back of house while children played. I called police and individual was arrested a few days later.
Hs wife and daughter threatened with stabbing to cut, stab and burn down my house. We had to move in fear of this happening now I find myself with no money to get the children school stuff, I humble ask is there any way I'm I able to get a referral for any organization involved in assisting with school items etc. in Cumberland county. The only assistance I get is food stamps and Medicaid and food stamps go quick with the children been home on school break. Please help us with anything that is available please. Thank you and God bless you.

We know of many that may offer supplies. As long as the income is low enough with the husband out of work that will probably qualify them. Find details on
free school supplies and other resources too.

I am a single mother of two boy’s ages 4 and 6 that need clothing and school items. I receive SSI of about $730 a month. I am trying to get us into an apartment and my 6 year old is about to start first grade at Academy del Sol in Tucson, AZ. They require him to have a uniform for the classroom with a shirt embroidered with their logo. I am trying to find help in at least giving him one complete uniform or other articles of clothing so that way I am able to afford to get us into an apartment. I have applied for section 8 and HUD.

I just wanted to thank you so much for all the information provided on the website. I am a single mother of two and have been struggling for years to make ends meet and it is not working. The father of the kids left and does not help at all. After that I have had 2 abusive relationships and had to stay in them because I can't make it on my own.
Right now I have to buy the back to school things and don't know how I am going to do it. We are currently being evicted from the place we were staying at because I can't pay for it. We have to move by Saturday but I have not found anything yet. If there is anything else you can do or any other place you can refer me to please I will greatly appreciate it.
