My name is Kristie. I am from Nunica, Michigan and need advice to stop a foreclosure. My husband was raised in the Grand Haven, Salvation Army Church. I am writing to you out of desperation. I will explain my situation so you understand. Please take the time to read. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
When COVID hit, my husband made the choice to walk away from his job because of my health, and that made up face a foreclosure that we need to stop. I have lupus, Pots, fibromyalgia and a few other tag along autoimmune diseases. We have been making so many sacrifices trying to protect me and our youngest daughter who has asthma, scoliosis and fibromyalgia. While trying to protect us and make ends meet we have struggled so much. Then this fall tragedy hit our family. All together we have 4 children and one Grand child. Our second oldest, 18, got sick before labor day. He went into the ER with covid and pneumonia. After being on life support for 6 weeks and multiple attempts to get him on a lung transplant list failed, he passed away October 19. Since then our entire world has fallen apart. We feel like every time we turn around we are getting kicked in the head again. Now we are facing foreclosure on our home, and I have fallen behind on everything.
Please, I am at my whits end trying to hold myself together and my family. We need help and have no other places that I know of to help. I have tried getting a loan, addition credit, whatever I could think of but to no avail..

Why did you not move when your mother passed away if you knew you could not afford the mortgage? You had 2 years to sell it, take out any equity, etc. So now your options to stop the foreclosure are very few, if any. And how could you not save money over that time if you needed it to move? Someone sounds way off here. Anyhow, look into the information we have on programs to help pay a mortgage.

My family is going through some hard times. My mother passed away 2 years ago and we stayed at her house she owned. We lost the house because we could no longer pay the house. I do not work at this moment and I’ve have been looking work.
They have already given us notice that the house will be going into foreclosure. I have no money to pay for a deposit on an apartment. I really need help. If you can help me in some way or even refer me some place for help. I would be very grateful. I have a 13 year old and a 3 year old daughter. Thank you so much.

Texas has a few mortgage programs, but the government support there is not as extensive as some other states across the country. Regardless, do whatever you need to to try to save your home from a foreclosure filing. Here is more info on some of the mortgage and foreclosure programs in Texas. Countrywide, the state, and some other resources are out there.

I also need to stop a forclosure. Where can I turn to for assistance and government programs, or can a bank help me. Even though I do not trust banks or those criminals at AIG.

Get a loan modification. Refiance. Or work harder
