Re: I need help with past rent in Detroit, Mi

Hello,
I am reaching out as a final attempt to stop this eviction I'm facing. I'm a 23 year old laborer with a Bachelor's in computer science, professional experience in carpentry, and have worked as an automotive technician. I've escaped * trafficking, homelessness, and the violent Detroit fight culture.
I've been working since I was 15 and have been made to be the support of my family.
I usually find work easily, but the last few months have been turbulent for me. I experienced a brutal sexual assault which took a month for me to recover from. After that, I began falling behind on bills and rent, and my mother lost her job. I'm the primary supporter of my family, because my parents (both high ranking Veterans) receive very little care from their jobs or the government.
I had stability to where I would help them, pay for my sister's schooling, and my own.
I finally started piecing my life back together, but it all came to a head via the government shut down and Detroit economy. Over 47% of my clients had to budget to cushion the impact of a now limited income, and work has been slow for me. Usually, I pay all my bills on time, and I'm the one who distributes this kind of help to people.
I've never experienced this before, and I don't know what to do. If I fall into homelessness, it's almost certain that I won't be able to make it back out again. Especially since I do most of my work in my Detroit home.
From April 2021- August 2023, I've provided emergency aid to over 20,000 disadvantaged people with emergency resources and funding. I was able to raise nearly $230,000 to be directly distributed to those people. Despite that, I can't seem to find that kind of help for myself.
My credit is too young for a loan, and I've been rejected everywhere I've looked. Even when I've expressed that I'd be happy to exchange labor for any help received. I'm a decent organizer and an even better worker, but it doesn't seem to mean much. This has taken so much focus off of school and I have nowhere else to turn. I have until Thursday morning to pay $4,100 or I lose everything.
Would you be able to help?
