Hello, I am disabled, I had a bad car wreck and broke my neck in three vertebrate places. I see my doctors, and physical therapy I live on my disability check, and my daughter and her now two year old son has been living with me in an apartment, but I have also been raising and taking care of one of my grand-daughters who will be ten years old in October, and the other grand-daughter for eight months.
My wife left them with me due to serious family issue, my Dr, has already told me my condition is and will not get better if I do not start putting myself first, and limit my stress, but that’s my problem. Now that it’s just me I need help in finding me somewhere live that I can afford. I want and need to live by myself, so I can focus more on my health, I just desperately need help finding me a home. Pease call me, and I pray someone calls me or e-mails me back.

Hello,
I have written to you all before. I was able to receive a part time position but it only pays $7.25 and I only get about 10 hours a week. Like I stated in my last email I used to be a caregiver for my disabled mother but it was becoming to dangerous and I had to put her in a nursing home. I was able to use a portion of her disability money to pay my rent but now I will not be able to that. I think I will be able to pay August's rent but I fear I may be without a home next month. I am 28 years old, I have no children and rental assistance is slim and far between for people without kids. I don’t have many friends or family willing to help out. Can you please point me in the direction of a service or program that could help me.

Good evening to you,
If it was not for my hope and faith, I would have had a nervous breakdown by now. I hope that since hope is in the name of your agency and I have tons of faith, that you can help me.
I only need temporary help. Through no fault of my own, I had a serious medical emergency that put me on short term disability 8/23/2014. I am due to go back to work the end of June 2015. When my medical emergency happened, I was only worried about my health and getting better. Little did I know, my employer would deny all disability payments except 2 weeks. For almost 3 months I have been living with $0.00 pay (I was told I have a good lawsuit against my employer, but that is down the road). I went though all my savings. I have no financial support, due to people who want to help and can't and/or people who have just been able to give me a little here and there. I have contacted all the church, government and state resources I knew about and have been told about and they have only been able to help with food and 1 utility. I greatly appreciate that, but I am about to be homeless.
Please help with the entire amount of $935.00. I need this to keep me from being homeless or help toward that amount. I will not be able to get to work next month, if I am homeless. I am being proactive and trying to keep this to where the emergency gets better and not worse. I am also trying to not be a burden to all tax payers. If I am homeless, I will need all social welfare programs indefinitely. I am in Cuyahoga county Ohio.
Please, please... help by preferably 3/27/2015. I am a Good Person.
Sincerely and Seriously.

I'm in need of rental assistance and I reside in Riverside County, the city of Thousand Palms. I contacted and visited your disability office in Cathedral City and was told that assistance is available only once in a two year time frame. I didn't see any restrictions on the website, and am just clarifying if this is factual information.

Hi, My wide and I are both permanently disabled are seeking help. We have recently encountered hardship due to lack of income and the rising cost of medical care. We have fallen behind on rent along with other bills. I have explored all agencies and been told either there are no funds available, or call back in the future to see if any will come available. If possible, can you please advise me where to turn for help to avoid eviction come October.

Yes, HUD applications often have a multiple year waiting list, even for the disabled. But we do have some options and information on other rental and housing for the disabled. Those can be found on the main site. Find details or suggestions for what you may need. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... sable.html

I am currently paying 400.00 a week to house my family in a hotel and am desperately seeking a residence. A local realtor directed me to you, I am told there may be rental assistance programs you can direct me to. I am employed full time and am just having a hard time with saving for a deposit when I am paying so much per week to house our family of 5, one of whom is disabled. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I need some kind of rental assistance because I have to move soon and due to my health problems I only live on SSI (disability) and some food stamps. I cannot find a 1 bedroom anywhere because of income guidelines (from my husband) or any kind of help from HUD because I am told that applications are closed at the moment. Please help, I have been searching since August. I am very scared.

Our tenancy is being terminated from where we live in Pasco Public Housing Authority and we have until March 30th to move out. My family is a low income family with a disabled member. We need to look for a place there are 3 kids, I am one of them and the only adult is my mother. Any suggestions on what to do? We can't afford to pay more than 500 monthly.

I work for the Government and am currently not being paid. I don't know how long this will take. I am needing to find out how to go about getting assistance for my rent next month if I am not getting paid by then. My wife is on disability but she does not have enough to cover us. Can I get information on that and if there maybe a program set up for the government employees like me in this situation? Thank you

I am fully disabled I was in the most devastating wreck head on collision. I broke my shoulders, pelvis, hips, right femur broke right knee, right foot was rapped around the brake pedal 180 degrees. My ribs broke went into lung collapsed. Gas started filling up with gas around his heart, and to top it off he got a blot clot in his neck. I was in the same car accident but my injury does not compares to his.

I am disabled but wont be seeing the judge for awhile we have all the paperwork on his and my injuries and to top it of he has to have several surgeries coming up and will have to have these surgeries every 10 years I am his fiance. I am just trying to explain how much we need help and I would like to add how the wreck happened.

She was on a cellphone and tried to pass. It was hard but we learned to forgive her even though before the wreck he was a machinist since has been 22 years old he worked all of his life he has dreams that he's not crippled and he's working. I hear him cry and he try's to hide it but I know he is crying. The poor guy all he can do is pray that these surgery will him some relief so he can play with his 10 month old daughter. All he can do is set on the couch and play with her that way and child just loves him if he didn't have her. I don't believe his mind would give up though as he is so strong in the mind even though he will be having these surgeries.
The doctor said we are trying to give him some relief but the doctor also said you will still be disabled. I have to take him to a specialist for the surgery.
We need HELP. I am ashamed we can't do it on our own. Please help our family in way possible. I got help with the electric bill once I don't know yet if they will keep doing it. I was not informed of that yet. I really need help with our rent. It is 550 a month. I don't have no place to go. I don't want to tell him we lost the house while he is in surgery and rehab for 3 months he's going to need to visit and at the same time while I'm there I have to come take care of the baby and keep a roof over her head. So please help. I don't have anybody else to turn to.
We have 550.00 in rent 40.00 in water. The monthly electric is roughly 175.00 a month unless LIHEAP will keep paying it. I couldn't even guess how much gas we spend on doctors to the specialist back in forth and to keep clothes on our backs. Also the phone is included in package deal with charter which includes phone internet and cable. I know phone is not a necessity nor is cable. It is 115.00 for a short time then it going up too. Our insurance for our cars is $500.00 every 6 months roughly. They are old cars but they seem like they will make it. One is a 2004 and the other 2008.
We have been together for 12 years and maybe I should of made this shorter and I know somebody always has worse. I am grateful he's alive. Please take some of the burden off our family. I'm four days late on our rent if you can help take the burden off so I can see him through surgeries. Then I can start on my surgery after that.

I have been out of work since December 2012 due to numerous health issues. I am in the process of applying for Social Security Disability but have been initially turned down so I have to appeal. I have no doubts I will be awarded benefits however the process is long and complex. I’m 52 and live alone and have no one to turn to. My Landlady had been understanding as I have lived here for 6 years however I haven't been able to pay anything since July 2013 and desperately need help. Is there any help out there that can make payment to my Landlady in Vermont until my disability is approved? Thank You.

That seems to be pretty high rent for Georgia. There are some government supported housing programs for the disabled, such as section 811, but we doubt they will pay $925 in rent, especially when you get that much from SSI. However you can try to apply for help. Note there is usually a waiting list in place as well. Find more information on disabled housing programs.

Hi, I am disabled and on SSI. That is my only income. I am in need of rent help this month and I wondered if you know of any assistance? My rent is due today. I already tried Llacca in Lima Ohio and they require an eviction notice to give any help. I don't want to let it go that long because it will ruin my credit and also because I don't want to do that to my landlord. My rent is due today and if you know of any help it would be greatly appreciated. I live in Allen County Ohio. My city is Delphos Ohio.

I just received an eviction notice from my apartment complex on Tuesday. I am 26 years old, single mother with 2 kids. ( 8 years & 1 years). My only income right now is my SSI for my disabilities, and I also just started working part time, which is only $56/wk. I am supporting my children and myself on my own and have fallen into hard times this past year. I am very scared that my children and I will become homeless because I can not come up with all the money myself and don’t know what to do. Please contact me back as soon as possible with any information you can give me with finding help, or if I am eligible for the programs you have available. Thank you.

I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran renting a single family residence in Tucson Arizona and my roommate failed to follow our verbal agreement. He is a person with no income and did not sign the lease or contribute any money for rent or the security deposit. I am looking for aid and information on the following; legal, military veteran and disabled military veterans financial aid or emergency assistance for bills such as rent and utilities, Info on community programs for my roommate who has no source of income. I am not asking for direct assistance I am simply asking for information on where and what I can do to help support myself who is supporting another person as well.
