Hello I am a single parent with 7 kids and I am in a crisis right now. It is a very big EMERGENCY and I really don’t know what to do. If I can briefly explain well I live in public housing but currently looking for a house for section 8 my voucher expires in the 26th of this month. As I am behind on my section 8 rent in Dayton and I’m in need of help with a deposit and or help with my bills at my current home which are already shut off because I was supposed to been moved.
Now I am in risk of getting evicted because my bills are off and I don't have money for both the deposit and bills at current home and don't want to lose current housing if section 8 doesn’t work. Please help, the deposit is 950 dollars for new house, first months rent and bills at old home is well current home is over 1000 together.

Yes, there are some places to call in Dayton Ohio for rent help. Now whether they have funds or not, you need will need to call ,ask around, and apply. Usually families with children get priority, so your daughter has that going for her. Find a listing of rent help in Dayton and the programs and agencies to call for aid.

I have been helping my daughter survive up to this point but now I can barely do it myself. She doesn't have the rent money for this month. Is there anyplace that will help? I don't want to wait until she is evicted! She cannot find a job, gets food stamps and has three children at home.
