Dear need help paying bills,
I'm a physical therapist working in the state of Michigan. I have a patient who was paralyzed from a motorcycle accident about 10 years ago. The injury in his spine occurred at the 5th thoracic vertebrae. He lives alone in a rental home with a ramp entrance that needs maintenance to ensure his safety with home enter and exit. He is unable to work and of course is struggling with paying all his bills including medical bills as he is paralyzed. He has Medicaid and Medicare. Please let me know what grants or resources may be available to him. Thank you so much,
Lisa

Re: Patient paralyzed
Hi Lisa,
We are sorry to hear about that. If the patient was paralyzed, they should be able to get cash benefits, medical care, etc. from disability programs and agencies in Michigan. There are several to try, and locate them here at disability benefits for bills in MI.
