I am living in a one bedroom apartment and requesting for assistance in paying for my utility bill as well as rent. Also, my December payment in the amount of $425.00 for rent. At this time my two stepsons are in need of paying for utilities bills too, for electric and heating gas.
The father to my two stepsons is in jail and will not be released until December 28, 2014 and he was employed and was a sole provider to his to kids and the two kids are attending school. So we are behind on rent, and one kid is in high school and one is middle school. Please I am asking for assistance. Thank you.

Re: We can't afford rent as income provider is in jail
We do you only have one sole income provider, and why don't you get a job. If you knew the father was in jail you must have figured you would struggle with your rent in the future. Also, the kid in high school can get a job too. Most do. Anyway, if you insist, find information on rent assistance programs.
