Waiting on disability hearing in Michigan

Post by Omni »

On September 28, 2012 I became injured on the job and I worked up to December 19, 2013. Since then I have not been able to pay for my rent nor my utilities. The injuries that I have sustained which is preventing me from working includes neck and back displacement, radiculopathy in the head, back, arm and both legs, inflammatory disease, rhemoutroid arthritis disease, sprain shoulder, right ankle, gastro and sleep disorder. I'm currently waiting on a decision from social security office in Detroit Michigan to include waiting on a decision from the Office Personnel Management regarding my Federal Disability Retirement.

Did you try contacting the office that decides on the process and whether an application is approved or not? This is a service that people are entitled too, and maybe they can help with the process. Learn more on the Disability Determination Service.
