One bedroom accommodation for veteran

Post by Romnee » Thu Mar 09, 2017 10:06 pm

I am a US army veteran that is presently homeless but, I am working part time. I have applied for transitional housing threw the Long beach CA where I'm qualified to move at anytime. My problem is the down payment required for entry into the one bedroom.
My case worker has quoted both types of areas in which am able to live and start fresh but the 1 man bedroom or double requires down payments of which I can't meet with the amount of hours I make bi weekly. Am also paying monthly of storage of my personnel property, which is another need as well as that accommodation. I also pay child support. Once am in housing my plan is to seek more employment added to what I already have but in order to do so I need housing.
Is asking for only monies needed to meet these needs? No cash would be taking by me I would prefer any and all transactions to be paid directly to the sources meaning Long Beach VA property management and my storage where my personnel property is stored. If you assist me in this I would appreciate it greatly and once am back on my feet with additional income I can set up a repayment plan. If you need my social workers info or other please contact me at the following number or email. Thank you for reading this.

Veterans do have several HUD programs targeted at them. They not only battle homelessness by offering rent help, money for moving, storage, etc. One is VASH and another is SSVF. But maybe more importnantly you can work with a case manager to get help finding a job, medical care, and those very critical services. Here are details, and read more veteran rent assistance.
