I am inquiring for further information on rental assistance programs, etc. for my father. He is currently hospitalized at East Jefferson Hospital , and should be transferred to a assisted living center within the next few days for physical therapy. After he is discharge from physical therapy, which should be sometime in late August, he will need a permanent place to live. His total profit a month after taxes is $900.00 (his retirement). Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

We are not sure if any of the agencies in Tampa Bay Florida cover assisted living rent costs. But you can ask. Or does he have Medicare or some other government benefits? Sometimes they will reimburse the client as well for a permanent home. Or even pay for ongoing, assisted living costs too.
