The Salvation Army has multiple offices in the county and city. Everything from emergency rent help to free motel vouchers as well as homeless shelters are on site. One of the major programs is known as Hope is Moving In. However, the agency may be able to help people, and direct individuals, to a large number of government and other emergency rent programs. Human Services administers the federal government funded Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program. Saint Vincent de Paul and St. Pius V - Churches that are part of this nationwide network may offer financial aid. This may be grants for paying rental expenses, or qualified borrowers emergency, zero percent interest rate loans.
