Also try Chisago County Health & Human Services at 651-213-5600. Ask about Emergency Assistance or Housing Support or whatever they call it there. Since you're working part time and have a 4-year-old, maybe that helps.
One thing too, tell them your son is staying with your mom because you can't afford a place right now. I'd mention that every time you call someone. It may not change anything but sometimes having a kid involved, even if he's with grandma part of the time, gets you looked at a little differently.

Hi, I was wondering what kind of services there is for me. I got kicked out of my apartment and I’m going to be moving out on the 31st of this month. I am a single mother of a 4-year-old boy who currently is staying with my mother because I can't support him on my own.
He does stay with me part time. I work at Ebenezer as a CNA only part time. I couldn't pay my rent this month because of not having enough money for it. I live in a 1 bedroom that just raised their rent to 775 and I can't afford that, so I’m not sure if they are going to kick me out sooner. I don't know who to contact to apply for rent help, utilities deposit help or down payment, damage deposit help.
I am really stressed out about being homeless if I don't figure something out. I try to pick up hours at work but there are no current openings at the moment. I just really need help. Please help me figure this out so I know I have a place to call home where my son and I can be safe. I live in Minnesota in Chisago County at the moment.
