I was given your Church as a resource to help with Financial Assistance for rent. I am in the process of becoming homeless and just recently lost my job. I was wondering what the next steps would be to get some help and possibly more resources. I am located in Broward County, Fl. I am writing to request assistance with rent for the upcoming month. I have already went through Family Success in Broward County; however, I was informed that the current waiting period is up to two months, which unfortunately places me at risk of eviction before any support can be provided. As a single mother with a one-year-old child, I am in urgent need of resources that may be available within a shorter timeframe. I would greatly appreciate any information on additional programs, outreach services, or organizations I may contact directly or be placed on a list for.
