Hello my name is Marisol, I am renting low monthly of 550.00 a month for a one bedroom condo.
My family will be selling the home I have 3 months or until I find a home. I work in education with an income of 20,000 a year so I can only afford between 500.00 to 600.00 a month for a one bedroom apartment.
I plan on marrying this year also to an immigrant who has detained by ICE and needs a green card. He will be processing his immigration info too so I will be the only one working and even when he is able to work because he has no education. He will only be able to get low paying jobs so we will be still in low paying jobs. I am trained in education as an assistant teacher which pays little.
I would like to meet with someone in your organization. I live in Charlotte area and want to stay in charlotte or near the area. To speak with someone about my needs my rental history is excellent and my credit is outstanding and would love help with buying a home of 2 to 3 beds with at least one bedroom but I don't have alot for a down payment and I have a friend in Oregon who through Catholic charity down-payment of 3000 and very low mortgage for a small home. I thought maybe you had such a program in NC although she bought the house in 2018 through the help of Catholic organization. Would love the same help. I have no children but will be married soon to an immigrant who I will also need to be connected with an immigrant lawyer to help me with my husband's immigration paper work and dealing with ICE.
