To whom it may concern,
I attempted to register for assistance on behalf of a family member in Memphis. She does not have the ability to do so herself. She has recently lost her mother & her husband who was the sole provider for her and her family. She spent her entire life taking her of her husband, she has neglected her own health while raising 4 daughters and being beside her husband through chemo, black lungs, multi-heart attacks, strokes and much more. Doctors always told her that her husband was superman nothing would ever slow him down or stop him because he has beat all odds so many times that they were sure he was going to pass away.
She worked as a dog groomer, did road construction flagging on I40 outside Memphis, and anything she could to provide for her family when her husband was I’ll. He was crushed in the coal mine at a young age and suffered many health issues that have sunk them into so much debt leaving her behind with an over whelming amount of things that she cannot take care of. She is disabled herself, her health is spiraling out of control and she has asked me to look into finding programs that could help her. She has never asked for a helping hand, she has always been too proud and found a way to do it on her own. Sadly, she is close to losing her home and has already had many utilities shut off. She is such an amazing woman and I would love nothing more than to see the good in something or someone do for her as she has done for so many others. My heartaches not being able to just scoop her up and help her and take away all her troubles and pains. The least I can do is reach out for her behalf and try and find a glimpse of hope or a little less stress for her. If there are ANY programs that you know of that may help if you cannot. PLEASE can you send them her information, even if it’s just a brochure we are trying so badly to get her some assistance.
